the room had ample space plus a good selection of teas, coffees, biscuits, and toiletries. the hotel maintained an immaculate condition, it felt warm and inviting. the staff were professional and courteous, and they were ready to help. i enjoyed a delicious and reasonably priced dinner in the restaurant, i found the shin of beef really good. breakfast had a generous selection.
I booked a standard twin room but it lacked a table. I missed having a space to place my belongings. the bar's early closing at 10 pm was somewhat disappointing.

Balanced Stay Near the Road

packed lunch helpful staff breakfast conservatory generous breakfast late order kitchen order main road road noise online photo misleading photo bathroom update needed update
Staff helped get my late order to the kitchen. Breakfast in the conservatory left me very full. They offered, and I thought it was very kind.
I noticed noise from the main road. I was in a room facing the road. The photo online did not show the proximity of the road. The bathroom could use some updating, but the room size was adequate.
